Salon Policies

All appointments should be booked online in advance. Once your appointment is scheduled, you will receive an automated text/email confirming the Date & Time of your service. Your stylist will also send a confirmation text/email 1-3 days before your appointment. At that time, you will need to confirm that you will be at your scheduled appointment. For this goal, we recommend keeping your contact information up to date. Please review the following salon policies:

BOOKING POLICY:

  • Service times are an estimate.

  • Parents MUST remain with small children during their child’s appointment.

  • First-time clients (no prior history on our booking site) must book a consultation to secure an appointment.

  • If you are scheduled for a consultation to establish your locs, please arrive with your hair clean and in its natural state (free of weaves, wigs, or braids). You will receive test locks during this visit.

  • Any previous styling to locs MUST be taken down before a service (unless you have booked a "Style Take Down" service).

  • Love YAH Locs and all affiliated stylists reserve the right to refuse service or cancel an appointment for any reason. If this occurs, any service fees will be refunded to your card on file.

GUESTS POLICY:

  • Extra guests are not permitted during your appointment, as seating is limited to clients receiving services.

HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY:

  • Masks are optional and can be worn during your service.

  • Smoking/vaping is not allowed inside the salon.

  • Unless otherwise permitted by law, firearms are not allowed inside the salon.

  • Except for service animals, pets or animals of any kind are not allowed in the salon.

  • If you have a fever/cold or are not feeling well, please reschedule your appointment. For everyone’s well-being, we cannot service your appointment if you are sick/symptomatic (fever, coughing, sneezing, runny nose, etc).

  • Our stylists do not use outside products unless prescribed by a physician. All products must be in their original bottles with the prescription attached.

PAYMENT POLICY:

  • You can pay with cash (exact change, please—we don't keep cash for change), Venmo, Cash App, Square (credit/debit), Apple Pay, or Google Pay. We even offer AfterPay! However you pay, we've got you. 💳

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION POLICY:

  • All service charges are final. I’m all about delivering high-quality service— therefore, I stand by my work 100%. If something doesn’t meet your expectations, let me know within 12 hours so we can make it right. After that, no refunds or redos—so please speak up, and let’s keep you looking and feeling fabulous! 💯✨

LATE POLICY:

  • If you will be more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, please contact your stylist by phone or text.

    • If you’re more than 15 minutes behind, your appointment may be canceled, and the cancellation fee still applies. If we can still get you in or you need to reschedule, there will be a $25 late fee added to your service.

  • As a valued client, if your appointment starts more than 15 minutes late, you have the right to cancel your appointment without penalty, and any service fees will be refunded to the card on file.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • If you need to reschedule or cancel, please do so at least 24 hours before your appointment. Otherwise, you’ll be charged 50% of the service cost.

  • No-shows and last-minute cancellations mean missed opportunities for others, so let’s keep it cute and respectful of everyone’s time. Thanks for understanding! 💖
