Dry, Brittle Locs?

Use the following loc care tips to help keep your hair moisturized and thriving.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but…

Your locs are dry because you only oil them. Additionally, if you're not washing between maintenance appointments, your scalp and locs are dying of thirst!

Let's set the record straight:

1) Oil is not a moisturizer; it's a sealant!

2) WATER is our bestie.

To lock in moisture, start with water, then seal with a light oil. Vegetable and fruit oils work great for daily touch-ups. Clean locs thrive! Wash at least 2x between maintenance appointments.

Moisturize daily or every other day, using gentle options like rose water, aloe vera juice, or distilled water instead of harsh tap water.

When it comes to oil, less is more - massage a small amount onto your scalp and hair shaft, working it in with your fingertips. Your locs will thank you for the balance!
